Rahul Roy is reportedly making a comeback to the big screen with sexual-dynamic
Four years after the hiatus, Kanu Bahl is all set to return with his second directorial titled ‘Agra’, a film that explores sexual politics within a family and the consequences of it on their relationships. It will be headlined by Aashiqui actor Rahul Roy, who is making a comeback to the industry with this film.
Recently, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to announce the news.
Rahul Roy debuted in Mahesh Bhatt’s spectacular hit ‘Aashiqui’ (1990) and has almost done around 20 films. Now he is all set to come back to the screen once again after a long gap. He was last seen in 2014t thriller-drama ‘To B or Not to B’ directed by Virendra Lalit.

Earlier, the actor took a break from the films when nothing exciting came his way only to witness a career revival following his win in reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’ in 2006. Now he is back with this interesting project
Talking about Agra in an interview withMid-Day Behl said, “Agra is a story of a family and an exploration of space in an increasingly crowded world. It follows the quest for a sexual odyssey of an individual. Having a production house like Yoodlee Films come on-board gives me confidence in their commitment to creating meaningful cinema.”
Interestingly, the offering is being headlined by Rahul Roy of Aashiqui fame, who makes his comeback with this film. Bahl said “Rahul has a lot of untapped potentials; energy that I wanted to channel via this character. He understood the intricacies of the role. I found in him a protagonist who is willing to take the plunge [and explore] this storyline.”
Moreover, the film ‘Agra’ features Priyanka Bose, Mohit Agarwal, Ruhani Sharma, Vibha Chibber, Sonal Jha and Aanchal Goswami. It is produced by Yoodlee films and scheduled to hit the big screen in 2020.
