Aamir Khan’s upcoming film will portray the 1992 demolition of Babri Masjid and the 2014 formation of PM Modi government in India
After the speculation that Aamir Khan’s upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will show the Babri Masjid demolition, a new report claims that it will have the 1984 anti-Sikh riots instead. After the assassination of India’s former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards Satwant Singh and Beant Singh, India was torn apart by anti-Sikh riots in 1984.

1984 anti-Sikh riots to showcase on the big screen with Aamir Khan
The source informed, “It is the 1984 anti-Sikh riots that will feature as an important part of the plot in the movie.”
“Lal Singh Chaddha is not just a film. It will be a reference for the world to see what happened in India in the past few years like how the Paramount film Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks, did with reference to the US. Similarly, Lal Singh Chaddha will show Aamir meeting important political and historical personalities in VFX-laden visuals. It will also show specific instances like the Babri Masjid demolition to other current political and national happenings like the formation of the Modi government and more,” an industry source was quoted as saying earlier.
‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. And the film is expected to go on the floors from October
