It was a biopic of Phoolan Devi- dreaded female of Chambal. Indian Censor board could not digest explicit sexual content, nudity and abusive language due to which it was banned in India.

Ironically, the movie which was penned in ancient India was banned by Censor Board of India as it depicted the unethical, immoral and explicit love story of four lovers in 16th Century.

Pankaj Advani’s ‘Urf Professor’ failed to grab a place on big screen as the story of a boy winning lottery ticket had too many vulgar scenes and the bold language too was one of the reasons for the same.

A rap musical movie was shut down because of the scenes which showcased nudity and sex scenes.
Inshallah, Football (2010)

It is an documentary about an aspiring footballer who was denied the right to travel abroad on the pretext that father was a militant in the 1990s. This movie was denied the censor certificate because of its plot which showcased the problems faced by people due to insurgencies and militancy in Kashmir Valley.
Unfreedom (2015)

Unfreedom is a drama and romance film starring Victor Banerjee, Adil Hussain. and Preeti Gupta. The film was refused a certificate by the censor board due to nudity and lesbian relationships in the film.
