Britain’s Prince Charles is tested positive for Coronavirus a Clarence House spokesperson informed public. Couple of days ago, German Chancellor, Angela Merkel was put in self-isolation as she had come in contact with a coronavirus positive patient.

Prince of Wales along with wife Duchess of Cornwall is now isolated at their home Balmoral cottage.
A statement from Clarence House says, owing to the high number of engagements he (Charles) carried out in his public role it remains uncertain from whom he caught the virus.
The spokesperson informed that Prince Charles, 71, is displaying only ‘mild symptoms’, otherwise, he remains in “good health.” He added that Charles’ wife Camilla, 72, has also been tested but does not have Covid-19 virus. The Royal couple was tested by the National Health Service (NHS) in Aberdeenshire in north-east Scotland.

Earlier in the month, Prince of Wale met Monaco’s Prince Albert II who was later found coronavirus positive. Charles’ last public engagement was on 12 March but he has been working from home over the last few days. Reportedly, he had a number of private engagements too.
Prince Charles, the oldest son of Queen Elizabeth is next in line for the throne of England. Palace informs that The Queen, 93, is following all the appropriate advice with regard to her health.
The year hasn’t been so great for British Royalty, first Megxit, then Prince Andrew’s involvement in Jeffrey Epstein case and now Charles infected with the coronavirus. The family is having a tough time.
By far, there are over 8,000 cases of coronavirus infection has emerged in Britain while some 422 patients lost their lives.
