However, now we all know that Hopper is alive and he is returning in season 4. On this, Millie Bobby Brown revealed the reason why she was pissed with the finale episode. Wait! Jim Hopper’s death is not the reason at all.
Duffer Brothers’ ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 script did not sit well with Millie Bobby Brown
In an interview with “Elle”, Millie revealed that she was upset when she read the script and explored that Eleven will move away from Hawkins, Indiana in the finale episode.
“I read the script and I was like, what, how is this even possible? Why are they moving away?” They were like ‘Didn’t you read episode 3?’ And I was like, ‘Oh yeah because Joyce Byers played by Winona Ryder said she wanted to move away from Hawkins’. I don’t know, I just felt really against it”, she said.
Further, Brown explained why it was hard for Eleven to say goodbye to Hawkins, as season 3 did not end well for Eleven. First, she lost her powers while fighting with the Mind-Flayer and felt helpless as she watched her friends try their best to kill the Mind-Flayer. Later, she lost the man she considered her father.
The finale episode showed how Eleven started living with the Byers after Jim Hopper’s death. Eventually, she had to leave Hawkins with them.
