Chris Evans is done with Captain America
A few months ago, Chris revealed on The Graham Norton Show that he won’t play Captain America again. The 39-year-old actor said he thinks it would be too risky to return after such a high-note ending to his character in Avengers: Endgame. “It was a great run and we went out on such a high note that it would be risky to revisit it in my opinion. It was such a good experience and I think it’s better left that way.” Evans said.

From cap to politician: Evans’ career in politics
Whenever we see Chris Evans, all we look for is Steve Rogers smiling back at us. But then Avengers: Endgame happened and with that one twist, we lost our superhero. Now he is busy exploring himself in a different field, that of politics.
Recently, Chris Evans made a virtual appearance on the talk Real Time With Bill Maher and opened up about the possibility of a career in politics. For those who aren’t aware, Chris Evans recently launched his brand new political website called ‘A Starting Point‘, which is billed as a civic engagement website. Through his website, Evans hopes to help the public easily understand the current political scenario and issues.
At one point during the talk show, Chris was asked if he would ever run for office, to which he said that he didn’t know enough to achieve that. “It’s not that I’m interested in politics. It’s more of trying to help. Politics to me seems like this weird, broken machine that we’ve all kind of given up on. But the truth is, if we give it a spit-shine, this thing might actually work. And that starts with participation and engagement. Again, it’s become such a toxic landscape, it breeds this exhaustion. People just can’t be bothered,” he explained.
It is often seen that when an actor starts talking about politics he wants to move deep into it. But apparently, Chris has no plans of running for office himself.
