Ty Burrell Gets Emotional:
Recently, the actor appeared on the ‘Good Morning America‘ show. Burrell discussed everything regarding how he feels about Modern Family coming to an end in April. He even compared the ending of the show to graduating from high school.
In his own words— “I think the closest analogue I can come up with is sort of like when you graduate from high school because we’ve been together for basically that amount of time, right? So it’s felt like kind of all the feelings. There’s a lot of sadness, but there’s a lot of gratitude and you feel emotionally 18, and everybody’s sort of overpromising like in high school where you’re like, I’m gonna see you every day. We’re still gonna talk, we’re gonna have coffee every weekend.”
Burrell discussed his experience of portraying the character of Phil Dunphy in Modern Family. Phil Dunphy is well-known for his mishaps and physical comedy. “It’s been one of the great pleasures of my life. I hadn’t done a lot of physical comedy before the show but I’m clumsy.”
