HBO closed down the curtains on its enthralling fantasy drama Game of Thrones in 2019. However, there were certain moments that were highly applauded by the fans. For e.g., Arya Stark killing of ‘The Night King’ (the main antagonist).
Meanwhile, there were other moments in the show that were highly scrutinized, i.e, the show’s ending.
In fact, GoT fans’ were so disappointed by the ending that they started a petition to remake Season 8. (The petition has till date received 1.5 million signatures).

However, they all made a similar point by saying that any ending would have been a bone of contention for fans since the series was largely loved!
But Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) has confessed that she was ‘absolutely thrilled’ with her character’s final arc.

In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on August 19, Maisie Williams opened up about the controversial ending of Game of Thrones. Even so, when she was questioned on her thoughts on the season’s finale, the 23-year-old said, ‘’It was so nice!”
“It was just a beautiful end to a decade of my life,” Williams added. “I couldn’t be happier with it, honestly. I was absolutely thrilled.”
THERE’S SOMEONE WHO AGREES GOT ENDING WAS BAD
Many may not agree with Maisie Williams honest opinion on the show’s ending. However, Charles Dance, who played Tywin Lannister on Game of Thrones was of a different mindset.
“I would say I was somewhat underwhelmed,” Charles added during his interview. “It disappointed a lot of people, and I’m afraid I am in the latter camp.”
Moreover, the 73-year-old actor on season 8’s remake said, “If there was a petition, I would sign it!”
