The shooting of Keanu Reeves most-anticipated film ‘The Matrix 4’ has resumed, nearly 5 months after the production was halted.

The production of Reeves’ sci-fi movie had come to a standstill, in March, due to the ongoing pandemic. Therefore, disrupting the entire schedule and the film’s shooting in Germany’s capital city of Berlin.
However, this time, Reeves himself has come up on camera and confirmed that the shooting of the film has resumed and is back on its track with full throttle.
The star said, “Everyone loves the project and if you’re ever going to get in a situation that needs to be figured out…show business people are the best.”
“We’re scrappy, we know how to get stuff done, we’re inventive, we think on our feet. It’s a great honour and I’m grateful to be working,” Reeves added.
Keanu Reeves also gave insights to the strict safety protocols his production team is following. “There’s a thoughtful, effective protocol in place. The rhythm of filmmaking has not really been interrupted or impacted, and that’s because of all the hard work and organization.”
Lana Wachowski is yet again producing Matrix 4, nearly 17 years after the release of its third part (in 2003). Meanwhile, people are excited to see Priyanka Chopra’s role in the movie after she was cast for a role in the film.
Perhaps the audiences will have to wait a little longer as Warner Bros has pushed back the date of release.
Initially, the film’s release was scheduled on May 21, 2021 but has now been pushed to April 1, 2022.
