Emilia Clarke has asked people around the world to donate money to her charity, SameYou. Emilia Clarke’s charity SameYou assists people who are recovering from brain injuries and strokes. The actress founded SameYou in the early days of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ as she revealed that she had suffered from two brain aneurysms.

But amidst the ongoing world crisis, the charity’s goal is to make beds for COVID-19 patients and assist them in recovering from brain injuries at home so as to free up more beds with the increasing number of cases.

Out of the donors who chip in, twelve lucky ones would be randomly picked for a virtual dinner date with Emilia Clarke. It will not be a classic fancy dinner date with candles and fancy cutlery.

Emilia explains how the whole dinner date idea will work

“We’ll cook it together and eat it together. And we will discuss lots of things — isolation and fear and also funny videos. And, you know, the fact that I can’t really cook. So it’s going to be fun.”

The Game of Thrones’ actress is expecting to raise £250,000 through this drive. In her latest Instagram post, she introduced the idea and explained the charity’s new aim in detail.
