‘Four More Shots Please’ actress Lisa Ray is Dissing Mindy Kaling’s Show ‘Never Have I Ever’
Recently, the 48-year-old actress, Lisa Ray, debated on Twitter about Netflix’s latest release ‘Never Have I Ever’. Lisa thinks about all the ways that the show is stereotyping Indian culture.
While the world is appreciating Maitreiy Ramakrishnan, Lisa thinks that the lead actress’s Indian accent is bad and that is too distracting. While she criticised the show, she boasted about her friends in “Canada/US” who do not “speak/think as portrayed” in the Netflix series.
The Pot Calling The Kettle Black
As soon as she posted her thoughts on Twitter, it became a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. The only difference, in this case, the kettle is not as black as the pot. A Twitter user was prompt to respond to Lisa’s tweet and pointed out the stereotypes in her own show, ‘Four More Shots Please’.

Lisa Ray’s show ‘Four More Shots Please’ was advertised as a feminist one. But, there was barely a shred of feminism in the show. This led to Amazon Prime’s ‘Four More Shots Please’ season 2 receiving too many negative reviews from the viewers and critics.
