The real-reason behind her predicament
For those who aren’t aware, Lady Gaga’s mental health has been a big part of her story. She first opened up about it in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, last year. She admitted that the real reason for her mental health struggles was the violent sexual assaults that she suffered when she was just 19 years old.
“I was raped repeatedly when I was 19 years old and I also developed PTSD as a result of not processing that trauma. I did not have anyone to help me. I didn’t have a therapist. I did not have a psychiatrist, I did not have a doctor help me through it,” Gaga said.
