Kylie Jenner recently bid to trademark her daughter Stormi’s name. But, sadly, her endeavour failed. Here’s why?
Billionaire at 22, Kylie Jenner has a million-dollar collection of everything. As we all know Kylie Jenner has made a habit of trademarking her name. (We have all heard about the famous cosmetic brand, Kylie Skin). More recently, the cosmetic leader used Valentine’s Day to trademark the phrases: ‘Kylie Body’ and Kylie Body by Kylie Jenner. But not only this, a few weeks ago, Jenner registered three more trademarks—Kylie Con, Kylie Kon, and Kylie Museum. (She sure thinks way ahead in time!). Her latest trademarking endeavour involved her 2-year-old daughter Stormi.
- Kylie Jenner is in a trademark war over her darling daughter Stormi’s name
- ‘Stormi’ trademark is blocked by a clothing line but Kylie museum granted
Not all of Kylie Jenner’s trademark ideas have worked out. This was the case when she recently lost out on a battle with a clothing brand. According to reports, Kylie had applied to pick up a bundle of trademarks related to her daughter’s name, Stormi, including ‘Stormi World‘.
However, the company has lawyer-ed up to prevent Jenner from grabbing it. They have claimed it will confuse their customers. The clothing company trademarked ‘Stormi Couture‘ about a month after the baby was born in 2018, and is fighting Kylie’s application.
A Celebrity Child Trademark Stealer?
This is not the first time the company has been accused of cashing in on the names of famous celebrity children. DJ Khaled also sued Business Movies Consulting in 2018 for selling clothing using the name of his son Asahd.
A Museum of Trademarks
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner already owns trademark including ‘Kybow, Kyliner, Glitter Eyes, Kylie Baby, Lip Kit, Kylie Museum, Kylie Kon and many more. We wonder how many more ideas does Kylie have to extend her already vast empire! Little Stormi sure has a lot to learn from her mother who seems to turn her into a youngest billionaire asap.
What do you think? Does Kylie Jenner want her daughter Stormi to be a billionaire like her asap? Which Kylie trademark did you find is the most interesting? Share with us in the comments section below.
