Kylie Jenner took to Instagram to share pictures of her extravagant birthday dress. But there’s one problem – the designers.
KYLIE JENNER SHARES SIZZLING SNAPS FROM HER BIRTHDAY
The 23-year-old took to social media to share photos of her vibrant, bejewelled minidress by French fashion designer and Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing.
Meanwhile, the reality star captioned the series of photos, “Thank you my love @olivier_rousteing for the most perfect bday dress.”
Nevertheless, Kylie Jenner’s 189 million Instagram followers went gaga over the gorgeous dress, but Costello had something else to say entirely.
MICHAEL COSTELLO THROWS A SHADE AT KYLIE’S DRESS
Unimpressed US fashion designer Michael Costello has strong opinions about Kylie Jenner’s birthday dress.
He commented, “And thank you t0 the no-name designers who work tirelessly around the cl0ck on custom looks who she won’t tag, mention or @ . . . Unless it’s paid.”
“And thank you to the glam team wh0 always gets tagged no matter what. (This post has nothing to do with me as Kylie 0nly wears something from me once a year and I’m lucky if I get a decent pic to post.), Costello continued.
He added, “N0 shade to any of her team who styles her and no shame to the glam team. Even though we know you cannot wait t0 unfollow me and drag me for filth!”
“But it’s sad that designers work so so so so hard on these opportunities to dress these gorgeous popular women and they only tag the major high-end designers like 0liver but forget about the other ones.
“(This has nothing to do with my brand ) but it definitely has a lot to do with the la designers why not tag at least one? Not all the time but maybe once in a while.”
The designer’s harsh comment has since garnered close to 4K likes. In fact, some social media users have embraced Costello’s stark comment, while others are defending Kylie.
