Kim Kardashian West is drawing the curtains to her hit reality TV series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The star took to her Instagram account late on Tuesday night (Sept 8) to confirm fans of KUWTK’s ending.
The SKIMS Founder said, “It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
The show has produced 20 seasons in 14 years. But, fans couldn’t stop but speculate as to why the show has come to an abrupt end as there’s no apparent reason as to why it should, in the first place?
While the family maintains that they grew tired of the show, a source has claimed that the matriarch boss, Kris Jenner, wanted to pull the chord on the show because of Kanye West.
KRIS JENNER PULLED THE CHORD ON KUWTK OVER KANYE’S ERRATIC BEHAVIOUR?
KUWTK is officially coming to an end. The popular reality show revolving around the famous Kardashian-Jenner family will take its final bow in early 2021.
As fans reminisced their best moments from the iconic reality TV show, a source has alleged that the show is only ending due to Momager Kris Jenner’s ‘fear of Kanye West causing an irreversible damage’ to the brand.
Over the last few weeks, Kanye has been through a roller-coaster of a ride. From announcing his presidency for the upcoming US Elections 2020 to his public meltdown, Kanye has publically thrown never-seen-before shades of himself.
Meanwhile, you’ll remember that his episodes of bipolar disorders were followed by public Twitter rants criticizing his mother-in-law Kris Jenner. Even so, Kanye went on public record to call Kris a ‘white supremacist’ and ‘Kris Jong-un.’
A CORROBORATIVE DECISION
While Kanye and Kim may have sorted their issues, however, a source confirms that Kris ‘pulled the plug’ on the long-running TV series due to fear of things going down-the-hill and impacting their overall brand reputation.
“(Kris) needed to pull the plug before he (Kanye) did irreversible damage to her brand.”
“He tried to constantly fight with Kris over production of the show,” the source added.
However, another source asserts that Kanye’s mental breakdown has had no role in Kris’ decision to end the show. His bipolar disorders were a knowledge known to the public domain for years, and it shall come as no surprise.
