The actress had been a part of the Big Bang Theory for more than a decade and received a lot of appreciation for portraying the character of Penny. But it seems like Kaley Cuoco was tired of her character and wanted to forget her as soon as she could.

Kaley Cuoco Was Desperate To Leave The Big Bang Theory
Harley Quinn’s producer, Patrick Schumacker, recently revealed that Kaley Cuoco was the only choice for the role of Harley. He explained that it was clear to the team that Kaley was the perfect fit for the part after she sat down for a two-hour meeting with Patrick about the character.
Furthermore, Patrick Schumacker revealed to RadioTimes, “Most of the meeting was just how excited Kaley was at the opportunity to do this departure from The Big Bang Theory, where she was this very nice midwestern girl, to be this supervillain and to do this kind of comedy by way of Quentin Tarantino, in terms of the violence at least.” In fact, he even revealed that Kaley Cuoco was crazy to do the recording of Harley Quinn.
