The Flight Attendant journey
After The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco bagged the lead role in a TV series titled The Flight Attendant. The show is based on a novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian and explores how one night can change everything. Cuoco stars as Cassie Bowden, a flight attendant who wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed with a dead man with no idea of what may have happened.
Kaley Cuoco’s dream character is Cassie
Recently, the 34-year-old actress revealed to Television Critics Association digital panel how her character Cassie is different from Penny. She said the mix of drama and comedy makes playing this character the right move for her. “I just love the art of making someone laugh and not taking yourself too seriously. Cassie is perfectly flawed. It was kind of an actor’s dream to play someone like her. She’s got a rollercoaster of issues, but a heart of gold, and she’s strong. It’s just a great female character to play.”
Further, Kaley talked about how Cassie’s character has been totally career-changing for her. She said, “I laughed over the last few years working on this. I’m like, I know too much! Like sometimes, you just don’t want to know all the stuff that’s going on. But, it’s been totally career-changing for me just to see it from the beginning and kind of go with my gut on things and make my own decisions and put this great group together and learn so much. So it’s been wonderful.”
The Flight Attendant‘s cast also features Rosie Perez, Zosia Mamet, Michiel Huisman, Michelle Gomez, Merle Dandrige, Colin Woodell, and others.
