During a promotional phase for Avengers: Age Of Ultron the director Joss Whedon opened up about his creative differences with Marvel. He revealed how he had to constantly argue to keep some scenes in the movie. He called the whole experience during the shooting, an unpleasant one.
In a 2015 appearance on the Empire Podcast, Joss Whedon said, “There dreams were not an executive favourite—the dreams, the farmhouse, these were things I fought to keep with the cave, it really turned into: They pointed a gun at the farm’s head and said ‘Give us the cave, or we’ll take out the farm’— in a civilised way. I respect these guys, they’re artists, but that’s when it got really, really unpleasant.”
Furthermore, Joss Whedon revealed, “I was so beaten down at that point I was, sure Ok—what movie is this? And the editors were like. No, you have to show the events in the cave. You can’t just say it.”

Well, Joss Whedon took the courage of sharing the incident and how it was a struggle to create the final product of Avengers: Age of Ultron. The stress and strain were visible on the silver screen as the Marvel fans were left disappointed with the movie. In fact, Avengers: Age Of Ultron is considered as one of the failures of the Marvel Studio.
