Based on the best-selling novel by Richelle Mead, “Vampire Academy” is a tale of friendship, romance, and danger. In a world of privilege and glamour, the relationship between two young ladies crosses their drastically different social strata as they prepare to complete their education and enter vampire society. One as a powerful Royal and the other as a half-vampire trained to protect against the savage ‘Strigoi’ who threaten to destroy their society. That is, if Royal infighting doesn’t do the job first. Kaiser will portray ‘Sonya Karp,’ who is quiet, careful, and decidedly odd. Sonya is not of royal lineage and prefers to spend her time in her library and gardens, on the fringes of Moroi society. She is not a person who enjoys creating a scene, but despite this, she has a quiet, but profound power of her own . She is taken aback when ‘Mikhail’, a Dhampir Guardian, expresses interest in her, a relationship that will expose both the brightest and darkest parts of her heart.
