After Stranger Things, the 28-year-old actor is ready to explore a new sci-fi experience that is different from Netflix’s Stranger Things. The film revolves around a bank teller called Guy played by Ryan Reynolds. Guy realises that he is a background character in an open world video game called Free City that will soon go offline. This would be a new experience for Joe Keery to explore the modern side in the sci-fi genre.

Joe Keery became a part of ‘Free Guy’ in 2019 while Stranger Things 3 was gaining popularity. It looks like Steve Harrington knew Stranger Things will soon be ending and he is using his current spotlight to get more offers. Either that or Joe Keery doesn’t want to stick with the same character or in the same series. Either way, it is highly speculated that Netflix’s Stranger Things will not go beyond Season 4.
