A famed family and sex therapist was killed at her home on Saturday. The police have arrested her ex-boyfriend who had a restraining order.

A celebrity therapist, Dr. Amie Harwick, was killed on Saturday. She was found on the ground beneath after a fall from the third-floor balcony with major injuries. These injuries implied that there was a struggle that led to a fall. After the police responded at 1:16 am, she was rushed to an area hospital. But Amie failed to survive the injuries and passed away. So, who is to blame?

The news that Dr. Amie Harwick was killed came as a shock to everyone. But the police have circled in and arrested a suspect. They arrested 41-year-old Gareth Pursehouse on Saturday at around 4:30 pm. Gareth Pursehouse was Amie’s ex-boyfriend.

The detectives discovered that Amie Harwick had even filed a restraining order against him. But the restraining order had expired two weeks ago. Currently, he is held on a $2 million bail.

What Happened At Hollywood Hills?

On Saturday, the police were notified and called in to investigate reports of a woman screaming. Later, when the officers arrived, they met Amie Harwick’s roommate in the street. She claimed that Amie was being assaulted at her home. Additionally, the roommate narrated that she had jumped a wall and went to the neighbours to call for help.

Subsequently, the police found Amie Harwick unconscious and clad with several major injuries. According to them, she had fallen from the third-floor balcony.

After the investigation, it was revealed that the fall was preceded by a struggle upstairs. Not only this, but also there were signs of forced entry into Harwick’s residence.

While it is highly suspected that Amie Harwick’s boyfriend killed her, we have to wait for the final judgment.
