In an interview, the supermodel admits by saying that as she broke boundaries in the fashion industry, her fiancé was doing the same on Wall Street.
JOHNSON AND MAILLIAN GET HITCHED
The 67-year-old announced her engagement to the 70-year-old financier on her Instagram post. Meanwhile, Johnson confesses that it’s the first time she’s dated someone so close to her age (referring to fiancé Brian Maillian).
Meanwhile, Johnson, the first black women to appear on the cover of French magazine Elle quips that finding the love of her life at this point in her life has been amazing.
At the same time, the two have been living together in the Californian city of Rancho Mirage.
WHO GOT DOWN ON THE KNEE FIRST
According to a website, Brian Maillian’s 88-year-old mother passed her wedding ring to Brian who then proposed to Beverly Johnson. However, this was not as intended. Johnson had decided to never get married again.
The supermodel was previously married to Billy Porter (a real estate agent) and later to music producer Danny Sims. Sims and Johnson share a daughter together named Anansa.
Meanwhile, the beautiful model took to her IG to spread the news. She captioned the photo that read, “Good News does travel faster.”
“Yes.. It’s true!.. My Love Brian & I are engaged to be married.” Johnson added. Therefore, indicating that the couple is ready to tie the knot soon.
