Are Filmfare Awards turning into a fake fare event?
After announcing the winners of Filmfare awards, the famous award function hit the headlines but for all the wrong reasons. Ananya Panday won the Best Debut Actress for ‘SOTY 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh‘ and subsequently, Netizens titled them as fake fare awards.
The reason for this title is clear. According to Netzeins, Ananya Panday lacks when it comes to acting capability. Thus it’s hard to accept the fact that she bagged the Black Lady for Best Debut Actress. It was not long before a Twitter trend “Boycott Filmfare” broke the internet.
Ananya Pandey has been in the limelight even before her debut in the Bollywood industry. For this, the credit definitely goes to Karan Johar. Ananya is a clear case of Nepotism gone too far.
Yes, relatives of well-established actors have taken up screen space before her, but there have been specks of acting talent in them.

While Alia Bhatt rose to fame with her refined acting skills, Ananya lacked them. Additionally, Alia Bhatt’s choice of scripts and her performance made her an industry’s favourite. But on the other hand, Ananya Panday’s on-screen performance lacked good acting skills.
Ananya Panday failed to catch the hearts of the audiences in both of her films SOTY 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
