Hollywood stars Chris Evans aka Captain America and Jeremy Renner aka Hawkeye are applauded for their roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recently, Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner disappointed their fans because of their controversial statements about Black Widow. However, the actors finally apologised for shaming Black Widow.

Chris Evans And Jeremy Disappointed Their Marvel Cinematic Universe’ Fans
During a promotional interview for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Chris and Jeremy were asked a question related to Black Widow’s relationship in the Marvel movies. On that, both the actors joked about Scarlett Johansson’s character in the movie, Black Widow.
Chris and Jeremy exclaimed that her character was a “complete s**t”. However, Chris and Jeremy’s statement fired back at them as Marvel fans ended up angry with them. The fans didn’t like the sexist comment and demanded an apology from the two.
After this, Chris and Jermey’s were left with no other options but to apologise. So, Chris issued an apology “Yesterday we were asked about the rumors that Black Widow wanted to be in a relationship with both Hawkeye and Captain America. We answered in a very juvenile and offensive way that rightfully angered some fans. I regret it and sincerely apologize.”
Later, Jeremy Renner also issued a separate apology, “I am sorry that this tasteless joke about a fictional character offended anyone. It was not meant to be serious in any way. Just poking fun during an exhausting and tedious press tour.”
