Things are not going easy with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ever since they left their royal lives behind. It seems that the royal couple has raged a war against British media houses.
From Good Morning Britain to Good Morning America, Meghan Markle is everywhere. Whether she is welcome or not, her name is on everyone’s mind. And after Megxit, the Duchess of Sussex has only become more popular than before.
- Good Morning Britain has banned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
- On the other hand, Meghan Markle appeared on TV for the first time since her royal exit.
- Good Morning America aired a pre-recorded video of the Duchess of Sussex where she talks about her latest Disneynature project, Elephant.
Recently, Piers Morgan of Good Morning Britain took aim at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and banned the usage of their names from the show. Ironically, on the other hand, Meghan Markle made her first appearance on TV after Megxit with ‘Good Morning America’.
From America to Britain to America: Good Morning, Meghan Markle!
She has become massively popular and is everywhere. Her latest appearance on the show Good Morning America was a pre-recorded one. This was to promote the Disneynature documentary, Elephant, that she narrated.
Talking about the documentary, Meghan Markle said, “I’m really grateful to have the opportunity of bringing the story of elephants to life.”
While Good Morning America welcomed Meghan Markle, bitter or sweet, Good Morning Britain broke all ties with her.
Piers Morgan Bans Meghan And Harry from Good Morning Britain
During the show, Piers Morgan’s co-host, Susanna Reid, asked him to stop talking about the ex-royal couple when he mentioned them (in spite of refusing to ever discuss them just moments ago). Piers had said, “Let’s not talk about Meghan and Harry today I can’t be a***d, let’s just forget about them.”
Ticked with this, Piers Morgan took a decision, on-air, and declared Good Morning Britain a Meghan Markle and Prince Harry free zone.
Surprisingly, Morgan neither consulted with the producers nor anyone else, before he announced this. It is popularly known that Piers has had a long-running tension with Meghan and Harry. This new incident only added fuel to fire.
Meghan and Harry Ban British Tabloids
Good Morning Britain might have recently banned Harry and Meghan Markle, but the duo banned some British tabloids a couple of days ago. In letters to editors of four major British tabloids, the ex-royal couple said, “there will be no corroboration and zero engagement”.
These four tabloids include the most famous British newspapers, the Daily Express, the Daily Mail, the Daily Mirror, and The Sun.
Life has not been easy for Meghan and Harry during or after royalty. Whether they took the right move to move away from Britain or not, only time will tell. Until then, what do you think?
