Bet you’ve heard of the mobile wallet and online payment app — MobiKwik. But not many people are aware of the fact that it is co-founded by Upasana Taku.
She is also the driving force behind Payment gateway, Zaakpay.
Upasana has worked with PayPal in California before returning to her country land in 2008. She has attained her degrees from NIIT and Stanford University.
A women has wings so she can fly solo
Radhika Ghai

The e-commerce website ShopClues is co-founded by Radhika Ghai. Not only she co-founded it but is also the Chief Marketing Engineer (CMO) of ShopClues. The Gurgaon based startup began in 2011 with a 10-member team.
The company raised $100 million in funding in Series E and became a unicorn startup in 2016.
She did her post-graduation in Advertising and Public Relations after which she moved to the USA for her MBA in 1999.
Soon after she joined Goldman Sachs in 2001. The next year, she moved to Nordstrom, an American chain of department stores headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
ShopClues is not Radhika’s first entrepreneurial venture.
She began with FashionClues, which was a content portal for NRI women.

Sabina Chopra

Sabina Chopra co-founded one of India’s leading travel website— Yatra.com in August 2006. She is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of corporate hotels at Yatra. She did her graduation from Delhi University. Prior to co-founding Yatra.com, she headed India operations of ebookers, an online travel company based out of Europe.
Yatra Online offers services such as domestic and international air ticketing, hotel booking, homestays, holiday packages, bus ticketing and rail ticketing.

Richa Kar

An online e-commerce website that retails lingeries of all sizes and comfort, Richa Kar co-founded Zivame in 2011. Prior to opening up her own venture, Richa has worked with SAP and Limited Brands, which owns Victoria’s Secret.
It was then that she realised that a big quarter of their sales came from the eCommerce channel.
This inspired her starting Zivame.
Zivame counts Ratan Tata as an investor.
Zivame offers 5,000 styles, 50 brands and 100 sizes with a valuation of $100 million.
Richa Kar completed her engineering from BITS, Pilani, followed by her management studies from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in 2007.

Shradha Sharma

An online technological portal that covers all stories about startups and entrepreneurs– YourStory is founded by Shradha Sharma.
Shradha is the CEO and chief-editor of yourstory.com that started in 2008.
She has worked with The Times of India and CNBC TV18.
Sharma attained her graduate degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.
She went on to study further at MICA, Ahmedabad.
The girl hails from Patna.
Despite much criticism from the people, she started YourStory. The venture completed more than 10 years and is known to be a platform where entrepreneurs share their stories.
