Oppo reveals Its foldable phone
After Samsung and Huawei, Oppo is the next vendor who brings the foldable smartphone to the market. The Vice President of Oppo’s divulges the development of a prototype of the foldable smartphone. But in keeping secret about its configurations and availability information. Brian Shen makes it clear that Oppo is not planning to ship the prototype until and unless it will be in high demand. But, the pictures show that Oppo is leaning towards Huawei’s design more than the Samsung.
Oppo foldable phone design, and features
Shen also reveals that there is a single large OLED panel wrap around both sides of the phone when it is folded rather than folded away on the sides. In addition, to the flexible display panels, the prototype also indulged that there is also a thick bar on one side of the phone which includes a camera module.
The camera module on Oppo’s prototype also appears to be dual Led flash. The design of Oppo’s foldable phone is quite similar to Huawei Matte X. The prototype appears with a new colorOS version.
Oppo’s foldable phone price estimation
It is quite early to comment on the price of Oppo’s foldable phone. If we have a look at Huawei Matte X than it is roughly estimated as (Rs. 2, 09,400) and Samsung Galaxy fold is (Rs. 1, 41,000). The price estimation of Oppo’s foldable phone is significantly higher than these Latest two smartphones.
