Samsung Unveils 219-Inch TV Called The Wall And It’s Seriously Impressive
Samsung showed off the massive 219-inch TV at the CES Technology show in Las Vegas. In case you’re wondering, the screen measures more than 18 feet; that’s impressive.
The massive TV dubbed “The Wall” uses a technology called MICRO LED which creates a brighter image using less energy than current televisions.
Televisions these days are pretty impressively big; they’re large enough for FIFA battles, binging on Netflix or screaming at when the footie is on.
But Samsung has just unveiled something so spectacular that everyone will want one in their living room or man-cave.
Now, if you think 18 feet is a little too big, there will be a smaller version made available that comes in at 75 inches, which is still very large, but more in-line with current televisions. And apparently, it can be made larger by snapping together additional screens.
Additional details are currently scarce, but we should expect to hear more about the new product soon.
Of course, if you play games, you’ll know a 219-inch television won’t be very practical for the hobby. In fact, large televisions, in general, aren’t great for gaming, especially competitive gaming. The bigger the TV, the farther you have to sit back, otherwise you’ll be sacrificing valuable information on the screen. And that’s why competitive gaming is on smaller monitors.
the company said that – “The Wall 2019 takes personalization to the next level, with modular panels that consumers can position in any size or shape to meet their needs.”
