Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that it will launch the all-new XUV300 compact SUV in India this February
The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 carries forward the characteristics of the XUV500 with its cheetah-inspired design, cheetah-like agility, thrilling performance, and advanced technology features.
Earlier, M&M managing director Pawan Goenka had said that the compact SUV segment currently accounts for about 60 percent in the overall SUV volumes. He added that the company looks to corner about 15 percent market share of the segment with the new vehicle.
The XUV300 carries forward the characteristics of the XUV500 with its cheetah-inspired design, cheetah-like agility, thrilling performance, and advanced technology features. The XUV300 ‘s headlamps integrate with the fog lamps forming a Cheetah-like tear-duct, while the pronounced wheel arches are inspired from the muscular haunches of the Cheetah.
Its modern grille, sculpted bonnet, pronounced shoulder & body lines along with an elevated stance, give the new model has a bold and charismatic road presence, while the dual LED DRLs and bold LED tail lamps, create an indelible visual signature.
Pre-bookings for the vehicle have already been commenced at a token of Rs 20,000. Veejay Ram Nakra, Chief of Sales & Marketing, M&M Ltd. has confirmed that the Mahindra will take on the SUVs priced in a range of Rs 8 lakh-Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). In the compact SUV space, the Mahindra XUV300 will take a gun up straight against the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, and Tata Nexon.
